I don’t even remember where this came from. The text-in-mouth (some awkward form of speech balloon?) reads “tupilak“, a Greenlandic monster of myth. The distorted limbs and grimacing face must have reminded me of the carved tupilak figurines I have seen in photos.
Another possible explanation is given in the parenthesized text below, reading “a very uncomfortable yoga-position”.
