
This and the previous post show the delay in my sketchbook postings … the shirts and skirts were dropping like autumn leaves when I were making those. This summer I was surprised to find myself sketching girls, something I’ve always felt a bit awkward doing. One thing is the invasion of drawing people when they don’t know it; drawing women in short dresses would put me too close to the pervert group, I thought.
Either way, I think learning to draw girls well is a fair way to make up for the attempt at their likenesses
